Once the plan is written, you still need tools: a stretch of focus time, a note of today’s spending, or a look at this week’s classes. Cami’s Miniapps are a collection of exactly these small tools. You can pick an existing tool, or describe what you need and create your own miniapp.
Start with a tool you actually need
You do not need to add many tools at once. Start from the situation you run into most often: if you switch tasks easily at work, try focus mode; to understand everyday spending, use the expense tracker; to organize school classes, use the timetable. Vocabulary practice, a journal and a countdown have their own entries too. The available collection depends on your app version.
Attach the tool to an action
For example, first add “sort out the first three pages of the proposal” in your tasks, then open focus mode. The timer helps you set aside the time; the task tells you what this stretch is for. Afterwards, return to your tasks to record progress, and the tool connects to the plan.
For your own tool, be clear about three things first
When you create a miniapp, describe what to record, how it works and what result you want to see. For example: “Make a small tool that records how many cups of coffee I drink each day. Each tap adds one cup and shows this week’s entries.” That makes the need much clearer than just “make a life tool”.
- State the purpose: record how many coffees you drink each day.
- State the operation: one tap on the button adds a cup.
- State the result: see today’s entries and this week’s record.
You can manage data access yourself
Miniapps that support conversation-based operations need to be added to “My Miniapps” with the relevant permissions enabled. Capabilities differ between tools; check the tool’s description and access settings before using it. For how data is handled, read the privacy policy.
Start with one tool today
Pick one situation, use a tool once, then judge whether it makes the action smoother. You can also explore miniapps on the website. The actual tools live in the app.
